It all starts with a booking. We are open 7 days a week, weather depending. The best time to book a skydive is spring and summer. Clear spring skies, warmer weather, long daylight hours, and a lekker vibe. Here are a few things to consider for your holiday itinerary and when consulting your Garden Route map:
Location: Mossel Bay. Our views look like a postcard.
Time on site: 2–3 hours.
Freefall time: 35–60 seconds depending on altitude (we go as high as 16,000ft — officially the highest in South Africa or anywhere else in Africa).
Gear: A colourful skydiving jumpsuit and goggles will be provided. Wear lace-up running shoes.
Video & photos: Strongly recommended. We use GoPro12 & 13 cameras.

Step 1: Check-in (the nerves kick in). You’ll arrive at our hangar, sign the paperwork and then go for briefing with the instructor. The best time to ask any questions is now, during the safety briefing and gear fitting.
Step 2: Training (aka “how to look cool in freefall”). We’ll teach you the basics: arching your body, lifting your legs for landing, and the golden rule — smile. It’s not a full classroom session; more like an encouraging safety talk. Listening skills will get you a long way to a good skydive.
Step 3: The flight up. This is where the butterflies multiply. As the plane climbs, you’ll see the Indian Ocean stretching forever and the Outeniqua Mountains framing the horizon. It’s so pretty, you almost forget what’s about to happen. Almost.
Step 4: The door opens. The moment your brain says “nope” is exactly when your instructor moves you forward. Heart in your throat? Perfectly normal. Screaming? Highly recommended.
Step 5: Freefall for 30–60 seconds that will ruin all other thrills for you. The rush is indescribable. It’s not like falling — more like racing at 200km/h. Your cheeks flap, your adrenaline peaks, and every nerve in your body goes “HELLO!”
Step 6: Parachute ride. After the freefall, the parachute opens and everything slows down. Suddenly it’s quiet and you can catch your breath, laugh, scream and talk to your instructor. You’re gliding over Mossel Bay with beautiful views of ocean, mountains, and wild farmlands. It’s amazing — a calm after the storm.
Step 7: Landing. Another burst of adrenaline. Legs up, slide in, Cheshire cat grin — done. You’ll wonder why you ever hesitated.
