Now, you may be wondering: isn’t a 16,000ft skydive scarier than the standard 10,000ft skydive? The answer is a resounding NO. In fact, the higher altitude only enhances the experience, offering a longer duration of freefall and a greater opportunity to savour the sensation of flying at high speed. So how exactly does it work? It’s simpler than you might think. After a brief training session, you’ll be paired with one of our certified tandem instructors. Together, you’ll board our twin turbine King Air B90 aircraft and quickly ascend to dizzying heights, where the real adventure begins. With a leap of faith, when the green light comes on, you’ll jump out, freefall and fly at speeds up to 220kms per hour. Once your parachute is open, you can talk to your instructor, look into the camera and send a loud, celebratory message to your friends and family while gently gliding back to the airfield for landing.
